Import Duties / Customs / Taxes

Question Do I have to pay Import Duties, Customs, Taxes ?

International items may be subject to customs processing and additional charges that differ from country to country depending on their laws and policies. For International Orders, we are not responsible for any fees that your country may have charged you. We do not cover any additional costs or charges for the final delivery of the package to your country or destination. Duties,  Taxes, Customs, or some other fees that your country had applied are the responsibility of the customer to be paid. We will not be able to give you a refund if the package is returned since you denied accepting it because of the reasons mentioned above ( refusal of customs and taxes payment)

You can ask us about the availability of the item you choose before placing an order by contacting us here When you place an order, with the confirmation email that you ll receive from us, there ll be information regarding the availability of the specific product you have ordered.

Question Is it possible to change my shipping address ?

If the order is shipped, we will not be able to make address changes. However, if the order has not been shipped

please contact us here, write Address Change and  the correct address in the comments. You ll receive an email from us that the change of address has been done.

Question Why was my order canceled ?
Answer

There are many reasons an order can be canceled.  One of the reasons is the accurate information regarding the order or if there is no reliable payment or ever proved payment. Our people will reach you for confirmation of these details. If there is no result from these actions, then the order will be cancelled.

Question Can I cancel my order ?
Answer

Once your order has been confirmed, our staff cannot change the order due to administrative reasons. However, if you decide to cancel it in 24 hours since you ve placed the order, we can give you the amount that you paid as credit store for your next order.  This doesn’t apply for sales or promotional codes.

Question Can I change my order once it is placed ?

Once your order is confirmed we cannot change it. However, if the item was available and has not been shipped, we can offer to cancel and replace the order by another item that you choose by contacting us here.  This doesn’t apply for sales or promotional codes.

Question Why is my Payment not working ?
Answer

You have the choice to  pay with a Credit Card, or PayPal. Also, there is the possibility to make a wire bank transfer. For more details please read our Payment Information here .

Delivery Details

Question How do I know that my order it has been shipped to me ?
Answer

When it is ready it will be sent to you with the delivery method you ve chosen and either way you ll receive a second email with the Tracking number that you can use to track your order any time.

Question Why is my order out of the delivery timeframe ?
Answer

Occasionally delays due to customs or courier are unfortunately beyond our control. Try to make sure that you ve entered right your address and telephone number.

Question The package was never delivered to me
Answer

In this case please contact the courier or delivery company used in your country to solve out this issue and make sure you use your tracking code. If they claim that they cannot help you, please contact here and we ll be happy to assist you resolve this issue.

Question What should I do if I don’t receive my order or if there are items missing from my order?
Answer

In case the package does not arrive or there are items missing, you must keep the packaging so that we can establish what transpired.

Any dispute regarding damages, missing items, or delivery to the wrong address must be communicated here within a maximum of 10 days from the delivery date shown on the courier’s website, otherwise it will not be accepted.

Question Can I have a different delivery address to my billing address ?

Yes, you can. Please make sure you have the right information regarding the delivery address. If you pay by card we recommend that you ship to the address the card is issued to avoid delays

Question Do you provide me a Tracking number, so I know where the package is ?

When the package is sent to you with the delivery method you ve chosen, you ll receive a second email with the Tracking number that you can use to track your order any time.

Question What do I do if I receive a defective item?
Answer

We guarantee that all our items are verified by our quality control department before they are shipped. If you happen to receive a defective item, we ask you to send an email here specifying your order number and item code, including photos (showing the security tag visibly attached to the item) so that we can assess the defect.

Please note that items that have been damaged due to normal wear and tear, improper use or by accident, are not considered defective items.

Return Policy

Question What is your Return Policy ?

Our main philosophy is your complete satisfaction with your order. We ll be happy to exchange or give you merchandise credit for items returned in 14 days. Before doing that, it is necessary to explain to us why exactly you want to return the specific item by contacting us here. Consider thought that you must accompany it with the sales receipt, unworn, unaltered and of course in a saleable condition. Once we ve received the package please allow us at least 10 days for the procedures to be done. 

Important notes

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or you have received the wrong item.
  • When you send the item back, we are not responsible if is lost or damaged therefore we cannot issue a refund, exchange, or store credit. To avoid such situations please make sure you ve insured the package for the full amount of the merchandise that you are sending back to us. We are not responsible for missing packages.
Question When will I receive my refund?

Once your return has been received by the Alter Ego Mykonos warehouse, and the items have been verified, we will process the return and you will receive a confirmation email.
It may take up to 10 days for the refund to be visible on your account, due to bank processing time.
